Hitchhiking the bible -or- Fancy new Introduction

The Holy and Sacred Bible is a Wholly Remarkable book. Not only is it a wholly remarkable book, it is also a highly successful one-More popular than 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, better selling than the Secret, and more controversial than Joseph Smiths trilogy of Theological blockbusters, The Book of Mormon, The Doctrine Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price.

In many of the far eastern civilizations of the Jewish Homeland the Christian Bible has already supplanted the Torah, aka the Old Testament as the standard repository of all knowledge and spiritual wisdom, for though it has many omissions and contains much that is apocryphal, or at least wildly inaccurate, it scores over the older, more pedestrian work in two important respects.

First it is slightly longer, telling the story of a gleefully less vengeful deity than it’s predecessor; and second, it has the words ‘Jesus Saves’ inscribed lovingly in large friendly letters on its cover.
